Origin
Meshach Hannam arrived in Guernsey some time before 1820. It seems likely that he is from the Horsington branch of the Hannam family. Meshach died in Guernsey in 1840 - and there is no trace of any members of the Hannam family in any of the censuses from 1841. There was also a butcher, William Hannam who held a stall in 1826 - which could be Meshach's nephew.
