Origin
Henry Drayton was living with and working for George Foote as a butcher in Guernsey at the time of the 1841 census. There was also an Edward Drayton, Ag Lab, also living in the household. By 1851, Henry was still working for George Foote, and another Drayton butcher, Samuel, was recorded in the household. All were born in England, but the relationship between them is as yet not established. During the 1850s, Henry married and raised a family, and continued working as a butcher in Guernsey. Samuel moved to Jersey and raised a family there. I have been unable to trace where in England they were born, so have been unable to establish any relationship between Henry, Edward and Samuel.
